Welcome Bill!
Welcome to the community William (Bill)
Don't worry Bill. With the pace of technology innovations, we're all 'completely new to it' every few years or so.... :D
Ahoy!
Decided a few weeks ago to resume my technical writing, as a way to give something back to the amazing communities that live on the World Wide Web.
I'm a DevOps Engineer with several years of experience on my back. I'm a loving father, a caring husband and a huge Star Wars fan.
Here is my very first post, feel free to check it out and leave as many comments as you want.
May the force be with you!
This is the best introduction. 👏
Hello there and welcome. I've just finished reading this article now and will be definitely keeping an eye on these as I'm interested in DevOps as a whole.
I definitely have a lot to learn though but this series looks super helpful, thanks for the post
Hi @reprodev, thanks you!
I trust you’ll finde the rest of the series helpful, at least that's my goal :D
Welcome to the party! 🎉
Thanks!
Neat read! I've always struggled with implementation and best practices (in both professional and personal projects). My workspace is a sea of chaos and my pipelines are non-existent. This was a good reminder that it doesn't have to be that way.
It definitely doesn’t xD, but it takes time. And it’s totally worth it BTW.
Hope my work will help you at least a bit on getting that sorted out. Best of luck!
Hey everyone my name is Angel I am new here I hope to learn a lot from you guys as you inspire me with what you do
Hello 👋
Welcome to DEV Community 🎉
Thank you Kiran ,
what is it that you know already in the DEV community?
Hey, welcome to Dev :)
Hope you can learn a ton, and I hope you get inspired 😄
thanks I hope I so too.....
Hey everyone! I'm Anoop. I'm a self taught MERN Stack Developer. I've been learning Development for the past One and half years, but I don't know how to monetize my skills. I welcome every suggestion, how I can earn money in the field of development and become financially independent.
Welcome!
Hi everyone.
Looking for some inspiration as was down three times when was learning web development.
Now thinking to learn flutter.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance.
Looking forward to meet new friends with the sane mind 🤓🤓
Hi Ivan,
If you're going to start with flutter I strongly recommend you to review how git submodules work before starting a new project :D
You're probably gonna be using those to get flutter updated on your repo.
Good luck!
Thanks will do:)
Glad to be on this learning journey with you!
Hai everyone,I am Saranya. I restarted my career after 10 years career gap. Now in my present company, I have been working for 7 months. Sometimes I would get demotivated because of very low pay and there I had to work in many technologies. So why I am here because I want to learn more and improve my professional life.
Hello @saranyakr
Welcome to DEV Community🎉
Hello! all the best for your journey.
New here. I've been a passionate Python dev (self-taught) since 2019. I can confidently call my level of experience with the language to be somewhere between an adept and an expert. I try to use programming in every area of life where it might be helpful (or usually, just interesting / fun).
I tend to suffer crippling imposter syndrome, and I feel as developers, some of us can over isolate in a field that can credit its success to collaboration. This seems like a good place to work on that.
In no particular order, here's what I got going on:
.wav
and using Numpy to do cool stuff with noiseThis barely scratches the surface of all the stuff I'm into.
Welcome to Dev To and I totally agree on collaboration being important in bringing folks together in programming and tech.
Making music with wav files sounds really fun. I'd be really interested to see how Numpy works to do this.
Hi Dylan, welcome to the DEV community! Using Numpy for modifying music sounds really cool! I'd love to read a post about it :)
Welcome to DEV Community Dylan! 🎉
Hello dear Dev community. As the title say I'm a guy who wants to learn, I'm willing to learn as someones helper. For sure I'm able to help a lot in your projects for example some boring and repetetive things :) in exchange for some experience.
I am a junior but I can help a lot :) I know exactly where I have difficulties and I hope that those things are not so much complicated, I have a wish that someone help me and explain me those shortcomings.
If there is someone who is willing to help me I'll be opened for any advice, for sure he will be able to determine my level as a developer so he can give me some directions etc.
I know that this is huge and I am thankful in advance :)
Welcome here!
🥳🥳
Hello everyone, I'm Paulo.
I'm a brazilian dude and english is my second language.
I'm starting today at dev.to but I have been working with IT for a pretty good time.
Always open to learn new things and I hope that I can inspire or help some other people here aswell.
Welcome Paulo on DEV!
hi Folks, I'm Peter Thum. I'm a 5x founder of a very diverse set of ventures -- albeit not a developer. I'm here to read, listen and learn. Cheers, Peter
Welcome Peter!
Thanks Thomas.
Welcome to any news members on DEV 🥳🎉
Hi everyone! I'm a student developer interested in Game development, App Development, and the applications of Machine Learning and AI. My primary languages are Java and Python, although I much prefer Java. I'm excited to have discovered this place, and can't wait to get more acquainted! 💖
Welcome to DEV Community Sarah🎉
I much prefer Java as well. 👍🏿
Hey, I'm Prince, the new web developer on the block, kinda new to everything. I started my frontend course on Coursera from Meta, I'm hoping to learn a lot from the course and this amazing community. I'm open to every piece of advice I can get here to make everything less sour but I'm always up for challenges too.
Welcome to DEV Community Prince 🎉
Thank you, Kiran
